I finally finished scanning the photos from my 1999 trip (I think I finished last summer, which means only 7 years to do this). . . . lots of good ones to choose from and so many good memories.  Instead of posting more photos on this website, I uploaded them to a Picasa Web Gallery and created a slideshow for this page.   So you get to see lots of photos instead of a few.

Outside of Istanbul we travelled on a circuitous path which took us from Ankara, to Cappadocia, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Aprodisias.  Along the way we went to see folk dancing and belly dance shows, ate a lot of good food, shopped a lot and stopped to look at fabulous places.
